Professor Beard, The best definition I've ever seen to describe what love is, and what it is not is, in 1st Corinthians chapter 13 verse 1 thru 13. I'm sure you already know that though, so I'm really just sharing it for any one else that might read this that doesn't know about those verses, maybe they will read it . In some translations the word love is substituted by the word charity.

DeleteIf only people knew & understood what it meant (the biblical scripture & the "fleshly" sense) of what it means to love, things would be much better in this world.
ReplyDeleteMy understanding of love is that there are different forms of love, but there is no love stronger and more powerful than agape love. Thank you, Jesus for agape love.
