Thoughts

"While you are busy trying to WIN the people who think you are a loser, you usually end up losing the people who KNOW you are a winner." -H. R.-

I happened to come across this quote some time ago & it never left me. It amazes me of the lengths that we go to trying  to impress, love, nurture, and care for those that don't care for us. At the end of the day, I have come to realize and accept that what God has for me, is for me. Nothing & no one can stop nor change that. We have to learn to be okay with being okay. Not everything will be perfect or go as we want it to; that's life-take it or leave it.

Growth and maturity dictates that we must change as the seasons do. As such, we can't hold on to things or people. Like the saying goes, "REAL situations ALWAYS expose FAKE people." I have decided to not let that make me weary. Everyone isn't going to like me or the things that I do. But, I pray that my good-heartedness, my loving nature, & my light shines through. So, I take solice in knowing that I can stand firm in who I am & what I belive in.

Blessings to you all!

  1. An excellent thought to share!

Although I do prefer people like me I understand some won't as I don't like everyone either. The problem I generally have is when someone I already know decides they don't like me anymore without explanation. If there is something tell me of it. If someone has said I did this or participated in that then at least let me know and tell my side. Far to often nothing is said. That's the real problem, communication. Open give and take talks with those who deserve at least the courtesy of a blow-up or dlow-out.
